And aside, my parents married in LA in ’46, and were there when Elizabeth Short was murdered. My mother always talked about The Black Dahlia. Probably the beginnings of my interest in true crime!

Regardless, I have just discovered your site and am really, really enjoying it. I discovered my love of all things LA, especially the noir-ish side, about seven years ago on a family roadtrip from Eugene, OR. I was never remotely interested before that, but was suddenly absolutely captivated. Your blog will certainly be another wonderful resource for my LA obsession!
